Libby Endry has owned The Gardener's Cottage since 2004. Although never intending to become a flower designer, Libby's love for flowers began at a young age, most notably when visiting her great grandparent's property on Soldiers Creek, AL.
Her great grandmother, an avid gardener and Ikebana flower designer, grew many varieties of camellias that quickly became her favorite flower and remain so today. Libby began designing flowers under the mentorship of original shop owner and renowned flower designer Bee Sieburg, who remains a significant part of the shop family today. From her youth growing up on the Gulf Coast of Florida to her current home in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, Libby is constantly inspired by the many different landscapes of nature and implements that into her design. |
Sarah Mollere, our shop manager, is a wonderful painter and excels in designing unique floral arrangements. She went to school at Tulane University and attended the University of New Orleans to complete her bachelor's degree in studio art. She now puts her talents and skills to work by creating beautiful, fresh designs for our floral bouquets. Sarah has the magic touch!

Despite living all the way in Florida, Libby’s mom Susan Endry drives up every year for our Holiday Open House with a car full of homemade refreshments that she's worked tirelessly on to serve for this big event. It simply would NOT be the same without her. Her food became so popular in fact that people began requesting a cookbook, which she made happen!
A master gardener as well, she’s always willing to lend a hand and get dirty whenever she’s in town. Also always willing to lend a hand is Libby’s dad Joe Endry who can be found doing anything from fixing something around the shop or even helping out on wedding crew! Even though Libby’s family lives in Florida this is still truly a family business. |
